The packing has begun. It is hard to pack for 65 degree weather when is hasn't been above freezing for weeks and we are getting another 18" + of snow on top of the 18' that is still on the ground! We are ready for a warmer clime and saying a temporary good-bye to snow and ice.
We've packed some gifts for the people who will help us while we are in China, especially the families that are letting us stay in their homes. We will stay with Qun's brothers and sisters in Guangchou for a few days, and the fly to Shanghai. We will stay with an our friend Jason, who was the sushi chef at New Fortune Restaurant a while back. We plan a day trip to Hang Chou, noted for its waterfront, parks and good food. We will one day for the Trade Fair that is going on in Shanghai, and then fly back to Guangchou. Then finally back to the US.
